Remuera is the high-spec end of our kitchen work. Clients here often supply their own tapware, and boiling or filtered water taps are normal rather than an extra, which means the plumbing has to be set out before the cabinetry goes in rather than fitted around it afterwards. It sits behind a heavy appliance, nobody looks at it, and when the fitting weeps it runs under the cabinetry rather than out where you would see it. We put a proper isolating valve where you can actually reach it, so the fix is a tap turn rather than an emergency.
