Nexus Plumbing covers West Harbour for plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying: repairs, hot water, blocked drains and renovation work. Certifying tradespeople, upfront pricing, and no call-out surprises.
More than half our West Harbour callouts start as a leak, and a good share of those come back to Dux Quest, the black or grey plastic pipe used through the 1980s, which goes brittle and lets go without warning. Repairing one section often pushes the next weak point over, so we will say plainly when a patch is only buying time and a re-pipe is the real answer. A lot of this is rental work booked through property managers.

From our job book
When a Dux Quest line finally gets replaced properly, the question everyone asks first is how long the water is off. Usually less than a day, and rarely the whole house at once, because we work one run at a time and keep a tap live wherever we can. The new pipe goes through the ceiling and down inside walls rather than following the old route, so most of the old line stays where it is and only the ends come out. What takes the time is access, not plumbing. If you have a manhole in every room we are much faster than if there is one in the hallway.

No call-out fee. The first hour on site covers both the work and getting to West Harbour, because the standard travel fee is included in it. After that we bill in fifteen minute increments. There is no minimum-hours rule and no after-hours loading during business hours.
Usually, yes. We work across Auckland every day, and West Harbour is on the round regularly rather than being a special trip. For a burst pipe or no water at all, ring rather than fill in the form, and we will tell you on the phone whether we can be there today instead of booking you in and leaving you waiting.
Yes, all three. Everything we do in West Harbour can be signed off, and the paperwork stands up for a council inspection, an insurer or a property manager. Our rates are published in full on the rates page rather than quoted on the day.
