Nexus Plumbing covers Hillcrest for plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying: repairs, hot water, blocked drains and renovation work. Certifying tradespeople, upfront pricing, and no call-out surprises.
The Hillcrest call we get most is a water meter that keeps turning when nothing in the house is running. It is not always where people expect. We have dug in front of a meter and found clean dry ground, and traced a drip appearing in a garage back to the floor above rather than to the hot water the owner assumed it was. There is also a fair bit of subdivided housing here, so separate water and gas submeters come up more often than in most suburbs.

From our job book
Low shower pressure is the Hillcrest complaint we hear most, and it is rarely the shower. It is usually the pressure reducing valve, or a filter or restrictor that has silted up, and occasionally it is a hot water cylinder that is low pressure by design and always was. Those have completely different fixes and only one of them is cheap. We check the pressure at the meter and at the fixture before recommending anything, because guessing here gets expensive fast.

No call-out fee. The first hour on site covers both the work and getting to Hillcrest, because the standard travel fee is included in it. After that we bill in fifteen minute increments. There is no minimum-hours rule and no after-hours loading during business hours.
Usually, yes. We work across Auckland every day, and Hillcrest is on the round regularly rather than being a special trip. For a burst pipe or no water at all, ring rather than fill in the form, and we will tell you on the phone whether we can be there today instead of booking you in and leaving you waiting.
Yes, all three. Everything we do in Hillcrest can be signed off, and the paperwork stands up for a council inspection, an insurer or a property manager. Our rates are published in full on the rates page rather than quoted on the day.
